MIHEC in Action

MiHEC’s shipment made it to Kinshasa!

The packages of medical, school, and children supplies that MiHEC shipped in December 2017 arrived in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo today! They will be distributed to a local hospital and orphanage.

Next Shipment

MiHEC wants to make another shipment of medical, school supplies and other necessities to Congo again soon. Each x-large box will cost $150.

Please make a donation of $20, $30 or more. Alternatively, please consider making a donation of children’s clothing. Together we can save orphans’ lives and make a difference in this world. God Bless!!!

Recent Clothing Donation

MiHEC would like to thank Jean Stumpf of Loveland, CO for a recent donation of beautiful kid’s clothing that she sewed herself. This included shirts, skirts, pajamas, and blankets. MiHEC is excited to hand-deliver these items to individuals in need during a visit to the DRC this year.

Also, MiHEC would like to thank Kae Ellen Saelens for getting Jean in touch with us!

2018 CSU World Unity Fair

In March 2018, MiHEC was at the 64th annual World Unity Fair at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. MiHEC board members and volunteers enjoyed stamping kids’ “passports” and talking with fair goers about the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and MiHEC’s mission “to reduce social injustice and poverty, to improve health, and to enhance availability of education” in vulnerable communities.

Below are photos from the event. Thanks to those who stopped by. Also, a special thanks to volunteers Amber Lambright and Chrevine Tuyishimire for helping MiHEC at the fair!

Here is a video that Chrevine made of the event:
