PortugueseMIHEC has provided medical and humanitarian help to the Kimbondo Hospital/Orphanage*, the Hospital of Kabinda, and the Center for Mothers and Children in Kinshasa, among others. MiHEC has provided medical and children’s supplies to those organizations through shipments and/or personal visits.

*The Kimbondo center was created for the purpose of assisting sick and abandoned children. It was founded by a 95 year-old Italian doctor by the name of Laura Perna, with the help of father Hugo Rios Diaz from Chile (a pediatrician and catholic priest). The center hosts more than 700 ill, mentally ill and abandoned children from the age of a few days to 18 years old.
